Born from attic jam sessions between childhood friends Andrew Pickel and Kevin Hinnefeld,Dizgo’s story began with two guitars, a tape recorder, and a dream - literally. The band’s namecame to Hinnefeld in a dream, before their first gig, reflecting the cosmic, boundary-breakingsound they’d soon deliver. Later joined by Jake Evatt on keys/vocals and Justin Clark on drums,the Bloomington-based quartet has since evolved into one of the country's premiere touring acts.

Critics have called Dizgo “one of the most operative names in the jam band scene” and“Indiana’s psychedelic powerhouse,” blending the adventurous spirit of jamtronica with thedeep-pocket pulse of funk, the warmth of soul, explosive guitar, and the kaleidoscopic texturesof psychedelic rock. Their live shows are immersive journeys - a dance party and mind-triprolled into one. Interweaving soulful vocals, analog synths, and searing guitar complete withintricate compositions and extended improvisation. The result is something both danceable andintrospective: a dance floor where heads and hearts move in equal measure.

Dizgo’s touring resume reads like a true music lover’s bucket list - standout sets at Peach Music Festival, Summer Camp, Secret Dreams, Domefest and Sonic Bloom, alongside club andamphitheater performances supporting Goose, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic,lespecial, Dogs in a Pile, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and more. Jacoozy is a five-piece band originally formed in Boone, North Carolina, now making waves from their home base in Asheville. Full Cord formed in 2008 in Grand Haven, Michigan, and their name comes from a perfectly on-brand moment: at one of their early gigs, Eric (guitar & also a sawyer) noticed their instruments stacked in a corner and said it looked like a “full cord of wood.” The phrase stuck and so did the band’s reputation for bringing heat, whether it’s a listening room set, a packed theater, or a festival main stage.

Their breakout year came in 2022. First, Full Cord won the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest, a stage tested proving ground with a track record of identifying tomorrow’s headliners. Then, the International Bluegrass Music Association named them Momentum Band of the Year, recognizing the band’s combination of performance power, songwriting, and forward drive.

The band’s recorded catalog tells the same story: roots forward, creatively restless, and built to be played live. Early releases Choreomania (2019) and Hindsight (2021) established their voice, and their Dark Shadow era has amplified it. Signed by Dark Shadow Recording, Full Cord has been praised by the label for “great songwriting, tight picking, and excellent vocals,” a clean summary of what audiences hear within the first song or two. Their Dark Shadow album Cambium arrived in November 2023, following singles that earned strong radio attention and chart activity.

Musically, Full Cord is bluegrass at the core, with the confidence to let other colors seep in touches of jazz, western swing, and rock ’n’ roll attitude without ever losing the drive and clarity that make bluegrass hit so hard.

Music has the power to move us—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. For SunSquabi—Kevin Donohue [guitar, keys, production], Josh Fairman [bass, synth], and George Horn [drums]—that power lives in the unspoken language they share on stage and in the studio. With millions of streams and high-energy performances at venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, they’ve carved out a space where electronic production, jam-band freedom, and funk-rooted grooves collide.

Now, the Colorado-based trio turns the page with their most defining release yet: a self-titled album that reintroduces SunSquabi in their purest form. More than a record, SunSquabi is a creative reset—a declaration of who they are now, and where they're headed next.

“This is the most honest version of us,” says Donohue. “It felt right to make it self-titled, because we’ve grown into something new–and we wanted to mark that.”  The album follows a strong run of EPs (Cloudburst and Grind) that saw the band evolving through collaboration, improvisation, and reinvention. Tracks often began as live jams—many from their livestream sessions during the pandemic—and grew into fully fleshed-out songs that reflect both discipline and spontaneity.

“We didn’t overthink it. We trusted our instincts,” adds Fairman. “Everything came from a real place, and we stayed true to that. This record feels like a culmination.” Since 2015, SunSquabi has toured relentlessly and released boundary-pushing records like Odyssey (2016), Deluxe EP (2017), and Instinct (2019). They've collaborated with artists like Lettuce, GRiZ, Late Night Radio, and The String Cheese Incident, building a loyal following along the way. Media outlets including JamBase, Live For Live Music, and ThisSongIsSick have praised their genre-defying sound and explosive live shows.

While their past work laid the foundation, SunSquabi feels like the project that defines them. It's not just a name on a record—it’s a statement of identity, intention, and evolution. And as always, their goal is simple: move people, lift spirits, and keep the groove alive.

Strictly Liquid, a rising rock and roll jamband from Florida, is captivating audiences with their original music that embodies the spirit of exploration. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like Phish, Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd, their sound is a dynamic fusion of psychedelic rock, blues, jazz, funk, and a touch of Americana. From the touching melodies of “Halfway” to the cascading peaks of “Crow,” their music takes listeners on a journey through the broad spectrum of human emotion. Each performance is a unique experience, with the band forging a deep connection with their audience every time they take the stage.

Formed in 2021, Strictly Liquid began when brothers Luke Valcich (keys, vocals) and Jesse Valcich (guitar, vocals) crossed paths with Joey Remillard (bass, vocals) in Tallahassee, FL, bonding over their shared love of music and spirituality. They quickly became good friends and started the band. After a year of performing with six rotating drummers, JC Hannon (drums, vocals) joined as the final member, elevating the group’s chemistry both on and off the stage.

Inspired by the burgeoning art scene, close knit community, and natural beauty of Asheville, North Carolina, newgrass turned eclectic jam band Fireside Collective has spent a decade working towards this very pinnacle.  Original band members Joe Cicero, guitar, Jesse Iaquinto, mandolin, Tommy Maher, resonator guitar, and Carson White, bass, began playing together in 2014 when Iaquinto gathered the group of bluegrass enthusiasts to back up some of his original songwriting. 

When they began touring again after covid, Fireside drew inspiration from jambands like The Grateful Dead,  the group’s agreed upon North Star.  There was significantly more improvisation, changing setlists from night to night, and longer musical movements.  With the introduction of Michael Tillis on drums in late 2023, the sound expanded to include heavy funk elements as well as classic rock and even ventured into techno and world music. By the end of 2024, Fireside Collective had become a true hybrid, with a strong foundation in bluegrass and folk, and healthy doses of rock n’ roll and funk, all blended together in a unique and colorful amalgam of original music.

How did East Nash Grass follow up their 2024 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Best New Artist? By earning a nomination for Entertainer of the Year, IBMA’s highest honor, in 2025, and celebrating fiddler Maddie Denton’s win as Fiddler of the Year. In short, East Nash Grass have quickly established themselves as the fresh new face of Nashville’s storied bluegrass tradition, a supergroup of rising stars: Grand Master Fiddle champion Denton is joined by banjo player Cory Walker (banjo player on the five-time nominated “Carter & Cleveland” album this year, among numerous accolades), 2022 IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year Harry Clark, and new guitar player Frank Rische. This is an all-star band that harkens back to the sort of talent collected in the original Blue Grass Boys and a powerhouse leader of the next generation in bluegrass excellence.

Rolling Stone had them among the “best of what we saw” at RockyGrass in 2025, praising their “rowdy set of high-octane bluegrass numbers,” and noting, “The group itself is a rapidly-rising force on the national touring scene.” 

And “rowdy” is right. They are far more than just a group of impressive instrumental technicians, building on night after night of three-set gigs on Nashville’s East Side, playing tiny stages for the love of it between tours backing bigger acts. It’s a hard-forged bond that translates into an infectious on-stage energy that audiences can’t seem to get enough of.

Rigometrics (Portland, Maine) is making serious waves in the Northeast music scene with a dynamic, high-energy sound that blends the soul of classic rock with the grit of funk and blues, the hooks of indie, and the urgency of modern alternative. Their music fuses Josef Berger’s searing guitar work, Derek Haney’s hard-hitting, groove-driven drums, and Keenan Hendricks’ soaring vocals and swaggering piano, which doubles as the bass in their live setup: creating a genre-blurring style that feels both timeless and fresh. The result is a live experience and growing catalog that consistently draws in diverse audiences and fuels an ever-expanding, loyal fan base.

Formed in late 2021, the three-piece has toured all over the East Coast and South, sold out 300-cap venues, headlined major shows in Maine, and played over 450 shows. Rooted in the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band but firmly focused on the future, Melody Trucks & The Fitzkee Brothers deliver a high-energy blend of original Southern rock, blues, funk, and improvisational jam music. The band brings together Melody Trucks, daughter of legendary Allman Brothers drummer Butch Trucks, with young powerhouse rhythm section Drew and Alex Fitzkee. Known for their explosive chemistry and deep connection to funk and jam music, the Fitzkee Brothers have performed on stages and alongside artists spanning the P-Funk, Allman Brothers, and modern jam scenes. Guitarist Will Bart, a member of the Fitzkee Brothers and guitarist with the North Mississippi Allstars, adds his soulful, blues-heavy playing and improvisational fire. The show is built around original music inspired by the spirit of the Allman Brothers—dual-guitar energy, blues-based grooves, soulful melodies, and open-ended improvisation—along with a selection of Allman Brothers favorites that celebrate the music and legacy that brought these musicians together. Special guest Berry Oakley Jr., son of original Allman Brothers bassist Berry Oakley, joins the band for select performances, creating a unique connection between the band’s legendary past and its next generation.
